Pakistan stand a good chance of winning atleast Bronze medal in the upcoming Asian games in 2026. They will face stiff opposition from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India for any medal in the cricket competition in Asian games.
Pakistan have a good composition of youth and experience. In experienced players they have Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Abrar Ahmed and Usman Khan. In youth they have Maaz Sadaqat, Ali Raza and Arafat Minhas etc.
Pakistan's main challenge in Asian games comes from India whom they havent defeated in Twenty20 internationals for four years now. Pakistan's last win in twenty20 internationals against India came in Super 4 stage of Asia Cup in 2022 in UAE.
In the end what I would like to say is that Pakistan have the ability to win gold in Asian games mens tournament 2026.
