Shan Masood's record as captain of Pakistan's test side has been dismal to say the least. Of the 16 test matches he has captained Pakistan have won just four and lost sixteen test matches under him with whitewashes of twice 2-0 against Bangladesh, Australia 3-0 and South africa 2-0. Pakistan also finished at the bottom of 2023-2025 Test Championship cycle under Shan Masood's test captaincy.
Shan Masood twice losing to Bangladesh is unbelievable as Bangladesh is a weak test team and they just lost to minnows Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe by an innings. We should nt have twice lost to Bangladesh by identical margins of 2-0 and should have defeated them clearly showing shan Masood's lack of captaincy skills.
In the end what I would like to say is that we should better replace Shan Masood as test captain immediately then only Pakistan's performance will improve in test cricket.
