Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 3 wickets in a closely fought final of the tri nation series also involving England. Fakhar Zaman once again proved himself to be a big match player by scoring a century in the final and by leading the run chase of 326 runs mammoth target set by Sri Lanka.
Pakistan were lucky in the Final that they won the toss and batted second at night when dew falls. The dew made Sri Lankan bowlers ineffective as they werent able to grip the ball properly especially Madushanka their main bowler neutralized by the heavy dew that fell in the Final. Arafat Minhas is probably the best find of the tri nation series as an all rounder as he once again played a gem of an innings to guide Pakistan's run chase which at one time was faltering at 230 for 5.
In the end what I will like to say that Pakistan were the most consistent team in the Tri nation Series and truly deserve to lift the Trophy.
