This time round Pakistan failed to put a par score and ended with a modest total of 168 runs which was easily chased by Sri Lanka. This shows that Sri lanka were a strong team and we shouldnt have taken them lightly in the third twenty20 by resting four key players from the match winning combination in the first two matches which Pakistan won convincingly.
Abdul Samad, Sufyan Moqim, Arafat Minhas and Razaullah were the replacements in the third twenty20 international of which only Arafat Minhas did well. Maaz Sadaqat failed to score in this match which was a big blow as he was in form in this twenty20 series. Sahibzada Farhan and Arafat Minhas were the only ones to score runs for Pakistan in this twenty20. Sahibzada Farhan scored consistently in this series. Kamindu Mendis and Kusal Mendis then took Sri lanka to a comfortable 8 wicket victory over Pakistan with only 17 balls to spare.
In the end what i would like to say is that never disturb a winning combination which Pakistan did in the third twenty20 international.
