Pakistan whitewashed Afghanistan in the ODI Series 3-0 in Afghanistan's home series held in Sri Lanka. The first and third matches of the series were one sided whereas the Second ODI went right down to the wire.
In the Second ODI Gurbaz scored 151 runs in Afghanistan's mammoth total of 300 for 5 in 50 Overs. Pakistan with the help of Imam-ul Haq and Babar Azam partnership were in control in the chase before Pakistan collapsed and needing 71 runs off only 46 balls with just four wickets standing. Shadab Khan had other ideas and struck a four and six off the last two balls bowled by Abdul Rahman the 49th Over. With 3 needed off last two balls bowled by Farooqi in the final over Naseem Shah struck a boundary to seal Pakistan's win with just one wicket remaining reminiscent of Pakistan's victory over Afghanistan in Twenty20 Over Asia Cup last year.
In the end I would like to say is that Pakistan cricket team is showing never say die attitude and will be very tough to beat in the ongoing Asia Cup.
